From Lethargy to Life Force

The etymology of creativity comes from the Latin root crear, which means "to make" or "to bring forth." Only recently has the idea of "unique" or "novel" been layered onto its meaning. So, in its earlier sense, we can say that everything, even the simplest hello, is an act of creativity. But now, in the modern sense, we ask: Is that hello unique enough? Was it said in a way that stands out? Or is it just another hello, like all the rest?
At its root, creativity simply means to make or bring forth. This means that your very being is inherently creative. Every movement you make, every breath you take and give, every sound you utter—whether you're aware of it or not—is part of the creative pulse of life.
You don’t need to do anything to be creative. You are creativity in motion. Life itself is pulsating through you.
Yet, in today’s world, we’ve added this condition: If you’re creative, what you create must be novel, unique, outside the box. And while there’s value in this perspective, to fully understand it, we need to return to the root.
At the foundation of it all, is your innate uniqueness.
As cliché as it may sound, it's essential to repeat: There is no one like you. No one else has your fingerprint, your voice, your way of seeing the world. No one else thinks like you, breathes like you. Every single detail about you, from the shape of your toes to the strands of your hair, is undeniably and exquisitely unique to you.
You are a creative being in the flesh. Every inch of you, every breath
But when I say that, perhaps it falls flat. Because there’s something deeper to acknowledge:
The belief you hold that whispers, "I am not creative."
When you tell yourself this, when you believe it, you step out of your body and into your mind. You disconnect from truth, your purpose, and from life. And it’s important to recognize this because that disconnection is where the sense of lack seeps in—the feeling of being separate, incomplete. That gap, that hungry void inside of you, remains insatiable no matter how much you consume, whether it’s food, media, or things.
But here's something even more important: you are not the perpetrator of this mess.
Nor are you the victim. You are both & neither.
If you're reading this, you've likely grown up in the same world I did. A world that, at some point, told you—through voices outside of you—that you weren’t enough. Not creative enough, not beautiful enough, not smart enough, not thin enough. And at some point, you believed it. You took it on and repeated it to yourself.
But we’re not here to dwell on pain or blame. There’s no need. The person or the thing that told you this, was in the same lie.
So let it go. Forgive. Come back to this moment with me. Because I promise you, there’s a way to fill that gap, to feel so deeply fulfilled and alive that it no longer matters who said what or why.
You will be reunited with your creativity, fulfilling your purpose, and immersed in your own divine mastery.
